If I know at the beginning
what I will know at the end
then I might as well
mark out every line that I have penned
Poetry for me
is about finding myself
and it is something a poem
can't do for me by itself
Every word I write
helps me collect a thought
an intimate realization
through a personal snapshot
It could be a desire or
a fear that's just been exposed
a clue into myself
that the poem has just proposed
writing is a powerful self awareness
that comes from within
I pray I will never neglect
my wandering pen

I can see you will be writing from your heart and giving us glimpses into your soul.. I really appreciate anyone who does that... it takes courage to do so... but it is so rewarding! It can help us get to know ourselves better... be it about joy, or simply a release of feelings, and a healing!
