I Run To You

God

Where are you?

I see you.

You are all around me.

I reach out, and almost touch you.

I look straight into your eyes, and you look back.

you look back.

But you don't reach for me.

you don't rescue me.

Do your eyes fill with tears?

Do you want to be here?

Do I need to let go?

If you can't be here, could you at least give me a direction?

would that be too much to ask?

Just a simple direction.

But if you could full blown rescue me, that would even be better.
But I know it's not possible.

Please don't make me go through another seventy years of the same thing.
Please.  I BEG you.  I BEG YOU.  I BEG YOU.

The first door opened, I will RUN through.

A beautiful poem that deserves an answer

For I myself well know the thoughts I am thinking towards YOU, is the utterance of Jehovah, thoughts of peace and not of calamity, to give YOU a future and a hope. And YOU will certainly call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to YOU.

And YOU will actually seek me and find [me], for YOU will search for me with all YOUR heart. And I will let myself be found by YOU. (Jeremiah 10:11-14)

You said the first door opened, I will RUN through.
Keep on knocking and it will be opened to you. Matthew 7:7. notice it says Keep On.. by perserverance in knocking, we show just how much we want the door to be opened for us to RUN through.

Reads honest much like the psalms. It reminds me a bit of the book I read called "Shattered Dreams." Often when our dreams shatter and we cry out to God, it seems he is silent yet he is calling us into a deeper relationship with him.
