I'll never be good enough.
You say you can control me.

I'm my own person,

I'm not a little kid.
And things are different than before.

I'm shaking with anger,
I can't see straight.
My eyes are filled with a blood-red feeling.
Pure, unfiltered hate.

So save your bullshit for someone else,
'Cause I refuse to listen.
There is no way I'm letting you see
These tears of mine glisten.

Cold hands, warm heart,
Yet you say I'm a bitch.
Fuck you, can't you see?
I'm sewing my heart up stitch by stitch.

All from wounds YOU inflicted.
And you're so preoccupied, you don't see!
All you'll ever gaze upon
Is the girl you wish I'd be.

    Ahhh girl, I loveddd this! It was filled with soo much anger and emotion and power!! It flowed very smoothly & the imagery you put in really brought out the intensity of the poem!
