Please don't think I'm Horrible....

Please dont think im horrible
for getting upset that your going out with your friends
but I miss you
and I love you
and I know you haven't seen them in months
but when was the last time they called you?
when was the last time they left you a message?
I'm so scared of whats going to happen when your out with them
are they going to (again) try to convince you to leave me?
are they going to fill your head with how horrible I am?

You do realize they are alcoholics, right?

You do realize none of them have a job that means anything, right?

You do realize they are going to try to take you from me, right?

If I knew you weren't going to a bar with them
and I knew you were going to be 100% safe
and I knew you would be coming home to me
to curl up in my arms
to hold me close
and whisper you love me.....
I wouldn't worry at all....

Why cant you go to a movie like normal people?
Is the rule once you hit 21 all the stuff you did before is no longer fun
no longer worth while
and the only way of having fun
is killing your liver
and sitting in a bar
drinking?
You can catch up other ways....
Sit on your couch
and watch a movie with them
I'll know your safe
I'll know I won't lose you....
