Hello Again

Missing image
You look good, in the best of health
It is so nice to see you tonight
So often I dreamt I'd see you here
Sitting with you still feels right

You look so relaxed and happy too
How I love that wonderful smile
That is smile that has haunted me
I’ve held in my heart this long while

Those gorgeous eyes still turn me on
They twinkle like they used to do
And your lovely face I long to touch
Then wrap my arms around you

Those gentle hands would thrill me
When we were happy years ago
And they still have that magic touch
I think you and I both know

There is no denying we’re older now
But much wiser I need to be
You still look like my special man
Although you walked out on me

My love, you still own my heart
I can see you know you do
But I won’t make that mistake again
You broke my heart in two

It has been nice to see you though
I’m glad you’ve done so good
Perhaps we could now just be friends
For the kids, I think we should

The imagery in this piece is awesome! You hit exactly the right tone for this. Those thoughts race throught one's mind lightening fast and they just can't be controlled.
