I came across a forum topic.
The intelligence there was microscopic.
The topic called for some poetry,
But all I have read are proofs of idiocy.
Though I'm sure the poets aren't to blame,
These horrendous posts are worthy of flame.
Someone hasn't showed them how,
(So I guess I will now)
To write a poem worthy of being read,
Instead of one that will leave us dead.
Why write about emo things like blood and thorns,
When you can write about happiness, bunnies, and unicorns?
Or maybe a haiku about nature's majesty.
Just make sure it isn't like any of these travesties.

Like it says, I was on a forum, where one of the topics called for poems. I entered only to find that they were all emo and...just blah.

On a forum, to "flame" is to make fun of someone or something, in case anyone is wondering.
