Sitting where solace
soothes my soul
and minnows dart
in dappled shade.
In quiet of solitude
where God's breath
on the breeze is heard,
peace within my soul is made.

I like this poem very much. It just makes you feel good when you read it - like comfort food for the soul! A suggestion: try reading the poem without the line "In quiet of solitude" - I think it's strong without that line. Just a thought. Either way it's great! - NANGALEEMA

The control and balance shown here is excellent, the imagery assured and the use of rhyme unobtrusive and subtly employed. An accomplished piece.

just lovely,it is similiar to my effort,we must see nature in all its light very much the same. Its a never ending journey into the unknown,"You just dont know what you will see next what you have never seen before.
Its all here year after year in all its glory.,as the seasons unfold

Very beautiful
Loved the times of streams, minnows and hot summers of youth.

Stunning write... the imagery is so good, you've placed me directly into the moment of summer, of peaceful feelings that come with it.
You're making me want summer so bad now
Wonderful relatable piece... good luck in the contest.
