Oh with such dissimulation I love you,
You will never know, no matter how profound your mind may be.
Nor will you ever know how acute I am to your actions
And how determinedly I am to approach you
With enough suavity to put a queen to shame.
It is only because of you that I am eager to display my sagacity to you,
You are the only reason I try to be the best that I can be.
But never will I tell you my feelings, for should you reject me….
Such a deep crevice would be torn in my heart deeper than any have ever known.
Even then, no matter what gesticulations I may perceive in my mind,
I would never be able to do anything to you, not in regard you with disdain.
And so is how deeply in love with you I fell.
Author notes
If I hadn't written this poem for my English class, then I would have used some other words in places, but it was a vocabulary assignment so I had to use some weird words.
