Hurtling towards earth
Lighting up the otherwise
Still night sky
Like a midnight sun
Where did you come from?
Who sent you?
Why are you coming here?
Growing bigger by the millisecond
Breaking apart
Into multiple projectiles
A bombardment
From some interstellar military
Why does it want to hurt us?
Is it trying to cause another mass extinction?
Or is it just trying to scare us?
What have we done to deserve this interstellar missile?
Did apollo upset the cosmic balance?
Or was it Saturn-V?

I don't know why I found this so humorous, but it really made me crack up! I love the images of the meteorite being likened to an "interstellar missile".

im glad you liked it. i tried to write it from a very intelligent child's point of view. i think it works but i dont know. ill probably do some editing later when i have some ideas lol.
