My little sister, she smiles all day
Even though she can't run or play
Our house is kept a lot cleaner than most
To prevent the illness diagnosed
A leukaemia sufferer is who she is
My fighting hero, my sister, Liz
A beautiful child, miracle unfurled
My little sister, my life and my world
Author notes
This is dedicated to my little sister, Lizzie, she has been fighting leukaemia for three years, since the age of 8, she is my whole life and I love her so much.

This is gorgeous. I find so much inspiration in the young children who battle illness. Because they are the ones who don't complain and just keep fighting

I marvel...
This is as much a beautiful sentiment and testimony to yourself as well as your sis. To be surrounded by loving family is as important to Liz as her medical care. May you all be blessed!

Very Sincere
It is sad how easily illnesses can come. A true pain, but you seem strong enough to withstand a weary storm. She will be all right I am sure. It is people like you to give others hope for a cure. Such dedication to one is the greatest cure in the world. I am very glad to see such a contribution of your time given to her. This makes me very happy...Big smiles! -
It's touching and deep - love it. Bless you and your sister.

Welcome to AllPoetry
such an illness is not only hard on the child, but also his/her family. Normally I'm sorry such things happen, but it seems when they do they change our world and make us reconsider our attitude towards life and hardships. It must be good to have such a role model. Good luck in the contest.
