That day
That day wasn't the first or last day.
Or, the worst day or the best day.
It was just better than the rest.
You drove me to the test.
Pushed me past the rest.
Gave me the tools of succession towards life.
Introduced the skills.
So, I can set the bar higher for other peoples wills.
To make the other excel.
To survive the first day of school.
Thank you Mom for pushing into preschool.

Its the seemingly little things that can have such a big impact. The first day of pre school. Good flow and structure. Thanks for sharing.
I encourage you to keep writing to read and comment.

Welcome to AllPoetry
I'm sure your mom would appreciate this a lot. It's these things that seem small, but have a great impact in our lives. You have showed well how a mother takes loving care of her child. Good luck in the contest
