That Thing

You are a puzzle I just can't complete -
A maze I cannot navigate,
A place I cannot tread without falling.
You are a walk that leaves me breathless,
The wind tugging at my soul,
The dagger bleeding me dry.
You are the moon, the stars, the night,
The day, the moment, the time.
You are everything, yet nothing I can hold.
You are a mystery, a dilemma, an answer.
A state of madness, insanity
A solution to being complete.
You are something I just cannot keep,
No matter how long I search, or smile, or cry,
For I know now that you are more lost than I.
