I actually did something
Something more than sitting around at home
To you it may seem like nothing
But to me...

We were thrown into a group of people
People who were weird, amazing and different
People who honestly didn't give a shit
People who we fitted in with
Suddenly I was reunited
With three people from my past
Suddenly I was closer
To someone I thought I'd lost
Suddenly...
My life was changing

I spent a summer
Breaking my own rules
Having fun
Meeting new people
Making memories

And as I got closer to them
I drifted away from her
She wasn't there
I'm glad she wasn't there
It made things easier to deal with
It wasn't intentional
Just something that happened
Something I'm not sure can be fixed

I have been an angel my entire life
An innocent kid
A good girl
I just never realised how much
So during this summer
I started to grow up a bit
I started to...
Loose my innocence

It was a summer of change
That ended with going back to school
Away from the people I hung out with
Back to the people I didn't fit in with
But it was ok
Because for the first time in a long time
I was happy

It was when we got closer
It was when we fell apart
It was when I got a boyfriend
It was when I hung at the mondo
It was fun, it was different
