I see a sack of rosehips
and it smacks as red hemoglobin
of him with the globe,
adjacent is olive leaf
I don't have to visualize, stack leaves
by the oregeno you can go on and on about
so to the Mexico version
that is crumbs but buds;
yet slow down for the secondary color
of celery like the gulf that opens the landscape
of your tastebuds and property
of biologic pen
cut precisely from pencil chomped on
oh write I want to have the earth with you
with no design of map without menutime
as there's never such a naptime
and I look at the shelf for myself
at a cheerful yellow planter
and there would be more than lipped smiles
or flare of nostrils interest
but pancreas pinching off what it needs
from sprouts and let it be a pregnant belly,
calm that isn't a mask
rather interior versus miscarriage
as green isn't fluff of folate lushness
of six weeks but protecting
mamma's blood pressure when still scared after
spina bifida is passed, oh babababy
abbreviate heartbeats it's so fast now as pink
numbers from swirl of root

A very interesting and slightly confusing poem, but so rich in visuals, colours, scents and a unique blend of nature and biological elements.
I've also found in this a gentle joy about pregnancy, the wonder of life in all it shapes and colours and the words "oh babybaby" highlights the way the mother marvels at this wonder growing inside of her. Being a baby lover myself I can very much associate with this poem.
Nicely done - and hey, since it's my contest and I have more points than what I can give away AND because I appreciate this poem, I am adding my applause
. Thank you for this entry.
