caressing strings

it began with a song
soft sounds
transformed into
exotic cadence

he stroked her edges
caressed her skin
poured his rhythm
within her

and from a single touch
music was created
between them

You took your readers there, and beyond with this one. I'd call this poetic bling. Doesn't get much better than this in so few words.

there are soooo many ways to go with this poem...it's succinct and beautiful..

it makes me think of all the ways a man can touch us mentally, spiritually & sensually... before they actually touch us, physically. Foreplay, I suppose..lol.

thanks for entering this lovely little poem...I love it

so beautiful, quiet words and lingering images of caring; strings respond to touch and yield resonant tones that find and capture our thoughts... so very well done here...excellent...'skid

Such a lovely piece, fluid and rhythmic just like its theme. Beautiful!

    Double K said it, "wow."

And she's right about the song too, but one that can only be felt through understanding of that feeling, of love, but not just love, a depth of desire and love combined in understanding...because that is when the real music plays.

Beautiful like you, in and out.

    The single touch...that's great...
