For Felicia,
Death awakens, as beauty approaches,
quickly fleeing from my soul.
Taking the pain of former years,
as your laughter takes up residence
Sadness, vanquished by your smile,
rivers of tears no longer run.
Enchantment, my new address
imprinted upon my spirit.
Monochrome days, darker nights
cease to exist with you.

The way many perceive this world is like looking at a black and white picture of a rainbow. We see the impressive arch, but not its colors that are refractions (different frequencies) of light. It is a frame of mind in which death is feared, while there is nothing to fear as it is a transition that is a return to the beautiful realm from where we came when entering this this world in this plane. Thank you for creating and sharing this magnificent poetical metaphor. I enjoyed being on this page to read and ponder. Take care,
Chris
