Orion and the Ugly Spaghetti

A child flies quickly,
  mayonnaise in hair,
spitting candy to hippy trees.

Alone, with imagination,
  he builds his floppy tower,
smelling rocks of olde.

Climbing, handless,
  stepping over monsters
  and through permed hair
he drools a rope
of which he climbs.

Char-broiled, he sleeps.

Shifting, ever-changing imagery makes for some ... unique pictures. Definitely a HUH?! poem. Very cool.

Love your title. Great juxtapositions. Especially enjoyed "through permed hair he drools a rope of which he climbs." congrats on the bronze!
