with the fire
burning trough my veins
screaming for the hunt
I have no choice
her thin neck is so
inviting so sweet
white in the dark of the night
blood pulsing just beneath it
the dark red liquor that I live for
that I would die for
if I could die
I lean in mouth wide
lips touching the warm skin
now I can feel the blood plus
just below the skin
my teeth brush her neck
once, twice
then they drive home
tasting the blood
taste it like live its self
fills me with joy
as I pull it from her
I can slowly feel her fade
but I dont care
let her go
there are things
in this world
she should never see
like me covered in her blood
my fangs gleaming in the moon light
so let her fade in to the eternal sleep
let her go where I can not
she will die for me
and I will live for her

Thank you for the entry, it was a captivating and enjoyable read. May I suggest you go back and read the rules please, before I judge the contest, as you have something missing from your authors box, thanks.
Good luck!
