There’s nothing quite like a ploughman’s for lunch
A nice juicy apple, the pick of the bunch
A round pickled onion, so tasty to munch,
And a hunk of the best cheddar cheese.
A nice slice of toast all tasty and brown
Welsh rarebit for tea, the best in the town
A nice touch of mustard, but don’t let it drown,
Made with the best cheddar cheese
Cauliflower smothered in tasty cheese sauce
Small bits of pasta, you’ll have no recourse
A sheer joy to eat and no need for force,
Topped with the best cheddar cheese
When all’s said and done at the end of the day
A fridge without cheese, no reason to stay
Crackers with cheddar and tea on a tray,
The perfect snack!
