Freedom (1)

Locked inside my head
Longing to be set free
Screaming, Crying
Pushing to be seen

But cruelly locked are minds doors
letting the light taunt and tease
ignoring the begging and pleading words
withholding the only key

The real me begs to get out
but every time it tries
its pushed further into its prison
escaping others eyes

For nothing on earth is what it seems
image is everything, every day
and though you try as hard as sin
there simply is no way

excellent job - very honest - i love that
the following stanza said it all screaming to be let out but you hold you back - perfect
The real me begs to get out
    but every time it tries
its pushed further into its prison
    escaping others eyes
