My Color Wheel

If in this life I desire anything
It would be to bring happiness to all
Therefore I would introduce my own color wheel
A wheel of colors that would brighten their way
No grim, dim or dark colors would be found here
Only bright, sunny colors to fill your days
To bring joy and laughter and peace of mind
First on my colour wheel would be yellow
To bring  the Sonlight of God's love
Second would be red the color of the blood
The blood Jesus shed as on Calvary the cross stood
And it flowed from his side to take away our sins
An act of submission to the Father's will
An act of love that only he could do
Then would be blue the color of the skies
A peaceful sight to me
As I gaze into that unending space
Thinking of the love he has for me
I can only imagine that awesome scene
As into the sky he did arise
Alive for evermore sitting at the Father's side
At last are purple, pink green, blue
All the colors of the rainbow
That remind us of his promises so true
All are colors telling of God's love
And the blessings of God sent down from above.
