A scream in the dark,
a mutilated body,
no-one hears
and no-one sees.
Why is no-one caught?
A death in an alley,
a murder in a night,
a killer on the prowl;
but no-one knows who.
Why do these things happen?
Evading capture
and arrest
more die
with blood curling screams.
Why is there no justice?
Yet no-one hears;
they only see
the horror that's left,
the body in the street.
Why does a murderer walk free?
