There are things in life that are hard
and sometimes people are mean
but I believe in my heart
that the world is what you make it
and it will treat you
the way you treat it
I think that at times we forget
life is always spinning
slowing down so you can pick up love
so don't let it pass you by
love is offered all over
it is a precious gift
and in your heart you hold it
it swirls on the inside
and outside you show it every day
with everything your life touches
that is flooded with your love
you can color your own world
making things beautiful
for everyone to see

Your writing is far beyond your age, I wouldn't have guessed you were 8.
It said a lot of good things and great word use. It's good that you think this way and it's excellent to see a beautiful, encouraging poem spring forth from all the depressing ones.
