Wonderful tribute to an amazing girl! I love the way you used the caramel at the beginning up against the echo later. Somehow it made me think about the process of making caramel. How you start with something wonderful (milk and sugar--white/virginal) and heat it until it becomes richer and more delicious. Her poetry is just like that--pure and unaffected, and yet has the depth of texture and richness that the heating of maturity and life experience brings, despite her young age. It echos like the flavor of chewy caramel in your mouth that you don't just swallow all at once. You have to chew on it, savor it. Wouldn't be the same as just swallowing the milk and sugar.
Anyway, i thought your words perfectly described her and her writing, and was done in such a lovely, soft manner.
