a better place

as i lay in the hospital bed,
with so much going through my head,
the pain is just getting worse,
i pray to god the lord jesus with each verse,
i will never curse,
cause god is takeing me to a better place,
somewhere where there is no pain,
and i get to see all of your smileing faces,
and i will take gods hand and let him guide my way,
and i will listen to what he has to say,
cause he will be takeing me to a better place,
and gives me wings to fly,
and i will no longer be little mr. shy,
and i will never ask him why,
cause he knows when it is my time,
god will give me my time to shine,
and take my seziures away,
and tell them to stay away,
cause god loves us all,
he will take us all to a better place,
all you have to do is pray to him,
the allmighty father,
and tell him that there is no other,
no other but him,
cause when god takes us to a better place,
there will be a smile on his face,
and we will live in his loveing grace,
cause god will take us to a better place,
a place of love,
a place to cherish,
cause my god will take me to a better place,
a new place that i can call home,
cause now that i have god in my heart,
that is the best place tto start,
cause with god,
no one i mean no one can tear us apart.

    nice

Sorry that you are in such pain... And yes, God is the way to be in peace. Thanks for sharing this with us and thanks for entering this into my contest. However, this is not a prayer for the world.

I loved the sentiments of this poem and I thought the repetition was great, it made it flow. I think you could even put this to music if you wanted, it just has such a musicality to it and such rhythm.

I agree...I also believe we will all see God in the end and I liked the theme of your poem. For me, the message was drowned out a little by misspellings, and incorrect caps. I, was never capitalized, nor was God or Jesus or Lord...all of which should be capitalized. That was really distracting to me...but I really did like the message of your work and I wish you luck in this contest.

You have written a powerful message within this piece! I thank you for reminding us how strong loving and wonderful the almighty father is. There are many times when ill we seem to forget he is there watching over us and protecting us. No matter how much we feel sorry for ourselves, what he wants to happen is what is going to happen! Thank you for sharing this with us and reminding us. Hugs~Nikki

    Very nice.

We do have to rely on him when we are in a hospital bed or just sick at home. Because it is what helps us get through some very tough situations.

A great message for everyone held within this,
God will listen and God will help ease the pain if we believe. However I agree with Frogz the prompt at hand was about He has Risen, and what that means.
    Blessings to you and yours.
    Love and Light

God will indeed restore us to a place we can't even imagine with good health and no pains of any kind! This was a nice read, but not real sure I see the prompt "He is risen" within. Thanks for entering and best wishes,

    Frogz~
