nothing

I cut a hole into nothing,
And for a while I feel ok.
I cut a hole into nothing
Some of the pain goes away
I cut a hole into nothing
It’s about the seventh one today
You’ve been gone for so long now
The day lost its wonders
My life is one long day that never ends.
I am given so many things to mend
They never work; I’ve nothing to do but…
Cut a hole into nothing,
And for a while I feel ok.
Cut a hole into nothing
Some of the pain goes away
Cut a hole into nothing
It’s about the eleventh one today
Now, that you’re gone I am left out
You made this choose
But I seam to be the only one that suffers
Since you did that I am NOTHING
I am all empty and they say their proud of me
So I cut into nothing
All the pain goes away
I cut into nothing
And be for it gets dark, I here you say “I’ll be the last one tonight.”

Author notes

aww powerful piece of writing, such raw emotion I can relate to. One of the best heartfelt poems I have ever read. The bit that really stood out to me is
"I cut a hole into nothing,
And for a while I feel ok.
I cut a hole into nothing
Some of the pain goes away"

    take carex

So otuching and heartfelt here, the true meaning of our pain, it's like a hole like you said here, a place where we're always falling in...
