With sharp glyconic verse I write
in goliardic fashions bright
Baroque refinements at their best
in flowing, frilly tapestries
along whose folds from neck to knees
I feign my love, as if in jest;
Love will not rest, to my demise,
I try to lose it writing lines
in layers of obscurity
pushing anti-academic
sculpting Beat with tragi-epics
draining pathos from sheer beauty;
still I'm romantic, death is life
if my heart beats alone tonight.

I'm not sure whether I like this particular form or not...but the content is strong and the verbiage is very well chosen. You did well within the confines of this form

Thanks for entering and good luck in the judging.
