Romeo was a sad man
Juliet was a sad girl
the love of each made them happy
Juliet gave rights to women
standing up for what she believed
Romeo let the world know what Juliet meant to him
the friar and the nurse
let them do what they pleased
her mother wanter her to marry Paris
she didn't want to

this is a poem very much of story telling and not showing through the use of poetic device.....you should look them up...they greatly improve poetry..thanks for entering the contest..

fryer ---> friar.
belived ---> believed.
ment ---> meant.
It's a tad simplistic. I know you're bound to 15 lines or less, but perhaps writing about theme of the play would be... well, to be completely frank, less banal. This isn't all that powerful or original and could benefit from some poetic devices (or at least a closer, more critical reading of Romeo and Juliet).
hiraeth.
