You hear his beat but can't see his heart
He grabs your hands you feel too far
You kiss his lips but don't hear his words
He opens his arms you think of birds
You move in closer to feel his touch
He's held you this whole time but it's not enough
Sweat beads form you become so tense so scared
Listen to his heart if you doubt that its there
Caress his fingertips if you can't feel his hand
He loves you its there you need to understand
Fly to his chest when his arms invite you in
Reassure your heart that he loves you again
Sometimes you can feel what you can't see
Sometimes you will hear when he can't speak
Sometimes you will listen but not with your ears
Trust in your heart and it will demolish your fears
