Twisted Insanity

It's the clockwork manifesto
people who come detesting
often found protesting
their lives on city streets and coffee shops
often find themselves ignored
by sleepy minds bored with the issue
from my coat i grab a tissue
and wipe away the one tear
one tear diluted with oil, blood and sunlight
likewise, i fear shall be seen and interpreted
as a weakness no vigilante operations can make up for

It's the clockwork manifesto
dull eyes turned toward the crest o'er
the daylight skyline reminding men
assured of their progress that each day
rewinds and we find ourselves where we were
over time.
But despite this they call me twisted
because I was gifted with sight and decided to take flight from

clockwork manifestos and men desperately
clutching pocketbooks, suburban homes, urban jobs,
at the call and beckon on pretty things in shiny boxes
down here in the dungeon sittin here wonderin
weather I lost my mind the day I gave up
and sought gateways to new realities
or the day I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb.
sin is such a soothing psalm.
