Your absence has left me:
lifeless and incomplete
without your touch
there is no warmth
without your love
there is no life
I lay here;
dismembered
without a heart
beating in my chest
blood;
cold and still in my veins
~
but upon your return
stoke up the fire
of passion
in my frozen soul
you return the
deadened life
to my decayed
paranoid mind
warmth flowing;
veins rivers of flaming lust
your skin
melting with mine
once more
sewing our incomplete
souls to one;
a perfect entity
with two
avid beating hearts
which drum in
unison as we
bond our souls
to one.
