In this age, we find ourselves propelled forward, not by our own success, but by another's belief that we shall not succeed. We take another hill, run another mile, and make higher grade only when we are told it is impossible, and we are unworthy. We strive for control over a future built on chance, and fight against a prophesized ending to our story. We find ourselves becoming stronger due to the knowledge that another was wrong in their assumptions, and we build our world on the mistaken notion that none but ourselves truly know us.
Behold the task of taking down, and breaking down one who is of our generation. For it is impossible to make the strong abandon the belief that they are in the right.
And yet, should I but whisper one negative word, or make one demeaning gesture, this great strength shall fail you and you shall be left as human as I am immortal.
