Rudolf came to me one day and said,
"Santa..... my nose is glowing bright,
Can I lead your sled tonight?"
I looked at Rudolf and sadly said,
"Sorry Rudolf, maybe next year"
As I watched Rudolf leave,
I heard him say,
"I'll be the best reindeer next year, you'll see"
Then I flew off in my sled.
In a flash the next Christmas came,
And with that I saw Rudolf standing there,
With his hoofs in the snow,
I said " Rudolf.............won't you guide my sled tonight?"
He looked straight up at me and said "NO!"
I asked him why....
And he said " I found a job at Walmart."

pleasant surprise
I found this to be a hilarious twist on the usual poem you may hear about reindeer or holidays. I loved the remark of working at Walmart (hell anyone can get a job there nowadays, why not reindeer?)
