Red is always
anger
but it doesn't have to be.
If we put all our anger into the
colour
should it not make us feel better?
frustration boils over making our heads
hot
like fire: the colour red comes up again.
Fire is not
red
but a mix of light and heat
flushed cheeks of
embarrassment
are red with regret and shyness
red noses are a sign of
pain
from too many tissues
red is not a just a
colour
but a feeling of mixed sorts
It stands out like a
punch
or a lipstick kiss
its always there jumping
out
at us like a claw
grabbing you and
twisting
your emotions.

is this even a poem. well its something I've always wanted to write about.
red is like a stress ball we put our anger into it so why doesn't it makes us feel better?????

I really like your take on this. Red is also the colour of Love. I like how you have related the colour to many things.

I like this poem a lot. It really says something about red. Maybe you should make a long poem about all the colors and their emotional powers. Great write!!

Quite an interesting take you have here. I personally wear a lot of black and only wear red when I am over-excited...so just maybe, for some people, red does make you feel better. Then again, I have a lot of issues. ha!

I don't know where to start. This is amazing to me. Something I never thought about but now will ponder. I really loved the imagery and analogy. "lipstick kisses" is so appropriate for RED. Beautiful. Keep writing and I will keep reading.
