One Day we shall all be called to our rightful place,
standing side by side with the supposed Gods of the human race.
In this righteous light, peace will transcend,
feelings will mend,
as our wings we extend,
and finally,
at our world's end,
life can truly begin.

Deffinately a good one. I agree that it does begin a bit cynically, but the contrast is really good throughout. The pic is beautiful and thought provoking, while the words weave into it's magic a bit. Or perhaps it's the other way around.

Your use of the phrase "supposed gods" would suggest a cynicism, and yet you speak of life after and suggest a heavanly reward. Curious but reflective of our modern mindset, which questions but finds no answers. contradiction is the purest form of reality.

I really like this poem. Truly that is what heaven should be like . Sounds a little apocalyptic, with a positive vision.

Hmm... that is one very facinating picture, I will admit to that, and it does compliment the poem very nicely. You fixed the spelling error that I also noticed, so this is a very well written poem. Good luck in the contest.
God Bless. -
I like the picture, and your write compliments it very well. YOu have shell in that first line and it should be shall. Other than that, a great write. Good luck in the contest.
