No one ever wrote
a handbook for life
Why not?
So many people lose
themselves in the whirlwind
They shouldn't
Because they are lost
they make bad decisions
Like death
Where would you start?
The beginning is where?
Does anyone know?
Can anyone define life
since they are all different.
Probably not
And love, there is
no how-to manual for that
We all wish there was
There are so many questions
that go unanswered
WHY?
Maybe those questions
should go unanswered
They might be inspiring
And maybe it should be
the truly living
That define life
because it isn't
exactly literal.
Science is all about literal
In the end I think
it is we who write
the directions for life
our memories and scars tell all
a handbook for life
Why not?
So many people lose
themselves in the whirlwind
They shouldn't
Because they are lost
they make bad decisions
Like death
Where would you start?
The beginning is where?
Does anyone know?
Can anyone define life

Author notes
I have always wondered why life has no explanations.
science doesn't count.
neither does God.

I really like this it is verry raw in a good way i have wondered quite a few of thease questions my self I love the way you wrote them...almost like thought running though your head
awesome keep writting it great!!! -
An interesting question for you:
Is death really a bad choice?
I'll quote the Tao Te Ching:
"If you want to be reborn
let yourself die"
Just trying to make you think

it can be depending on the situation. " a man doesn't think clearly when his fists are clenched" i don't know who said that but its true too. I did think. suicide is selfish in away. it hurts every except you. you bring yourself peace and others agony. think about it.

Death and suicide are two very different topics. If that's what you were thinking then I think you need to re-word that.

I like how your writes are almost like a blog or an inner conscience excercise. I tend to appreciate the things that make me wonder.

wow i got it from the very beggining and all i can say is the end is exactly right kinda there is a manuel but it will never be finished because as we live and die our experiences and scars go in that book and we leave it for those after us so they can learn from our mistakes and add a few of there's in for others to learn from as well.

How come nobody gets it until the end???? Life has no directions. we get lost and there is usually nowhere to turn. We often joke about"oh ya well thats what it say in the father's handbook: be silly ALL the time" stuff like that. Nobody can define life. its just ya.

great!
At first I didn't get it until the line about the truly living. WOW! Makes me think about the song "unwritten". We all write our own life stories and the choices and chances are what make life wonderful and terrible. We just have to take the reins and live our lives for us. Great, thought provoking poem.
