The Truth About 10%

["... I will never forget you, you changed me and opened my eyes.  90% of it was good so call my feelings what you want but..."]

But....

Ten Percent is all it takes.
All it takes to destroy other ninety.
Ten percent makes it easy.
Makes it easy to say goodbye.
To not look back.

Ten percent can destroy.
Ten percent can raze.
Ten percent can kill.


["-Just remember if you ever need anything I am there ... You know how to reach me, you always have."]

A broken promise, cared for by a fool's hands.

    It's so beautiful how you can take your pain or thoughts and use them in a way that people can understand and feel just what you feel You just take what you want and do it and the way you make it into Poetry is amazing

    I thought I commented on this - but apparently I haven't. You're right that ten percent can kill everything. But that 10 percent can help you realize that the 90 percent should be appreciated.

    I couldnt not more! You put into words perfectly how 10% of something negative can ultimatley mean more that the other 90% thats amazing! I really enjoyed how you incorporated telling the person that they can call you if they ever needed anything! This poem actually fits amazingly with my last relationship! The line in your author notes is extremely strong too, did you think of adding it to the poem somehow? The very last line, along with that one left me in awe! AMAZING WRITE! Keep up the great work!!

      actually all the quotes are things that she had said to me, so that's supposed to be like I was responding to it... and the author note thing was just something I had thought of after writing the poem so I slipped it in there.

    I LOVE the last line, it's an absolute bomb. I like what you've said and I agree, 10% can destroy a relationship of the participants aren't careful. I liked the start...the repetition of but was a good touch and teh further repetition throughout is as well. Again I say, the last line...classic.
