Holding me, kissing me
berating my wandering eyes
oh, but you're the one
hiding in your kisses your lies
capturing me, keeping me
binding me with silken ties
you accuse me, but then hurt me
with your little white lies
You are hiding yourself
with kisses and lies
berating my wandering eyes
oh, but you're the one
hiding in your kisses your lies
capturing me, keeping me
binding me with silken ties
you accuse me, but then hurt me
with your little white lies
You are hiding yourself
with kisses and lies
Author notes
No, he never tied me down, just so you know, its more of a metaphor. He lied to me, I don't know for how long, but he cheated on me with 6 other girls, or maybe more, at one time. My best friend saw him on the same day with 6 different girls, kissing them, teasing them...
I wonder if they know...?
Either way, I'm with a much better man, *winks*

"you accuse me, but then hurt me
with your little white lies"
I loved these lines they really hit home for me.
Normally i prefer longer poetry but i really liked this and the shortness did affect how good it was.
