Why should I worry?

Missing image
Consider the lilies
see them grow
their beauty on earth
an unmatched show

They do not labor
and do not spin
Yet none is arrayed
in glory as them

So why should I worry
why should I fret
My daily needs
He won't forget

Luke 12:27 “Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; but I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

    Lovely

Oh so true, it is so humbling to read such a write as this and see Gods word just below it. You are an amazing poet and a wonderful brother in Christ Jesus our Lord. Of love that scripture you chose to write upon, or maybe you didn't, maybe you wrote the poem and God gave you the scripture. Well either way it is perfect. The picture is beautiful and so it the poem. Excellent Write, thank you for sharing your gift to write poetry and share the Lord with me.
    Many Blessings

Truelly beautifull! The flow is great and I love that you have combined a verse from the Bible with you poem, it really makes the piece. I sort of wrote a poem like this once, its called "Set me as a Seal". It is from the book of Solomon so you might like it. Anyhoo, Great write!

So profound. Such rich color in this wisdom you have shared. And bless you for caring so much for a struggling friend in that you wrote a priceless poetic reminder for her. Your words travel even to places you don't yet know of. I drew a measure of comfort myself as I know others will.

This life is certainly some kind of endurance test and we all endure, struggle and find our way somehow. We should not worry, this is true. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful, nurturing and loving part of yourself.

    Be blessed!
