That look in her eye
Was simply so divine
It stirred me all up inside
And made me feel so fine
The curve upon her pretty lips
As she spoke such simple word
That all flew upon angels wings
Kissing my ears to be heard
The touch of her gentle hand
Sparked me with such desire
And when I hold her so close
I feel like I’m filled with fire
When she softly kisses me
It sparks me deep into the bone
It is then that I come to realize
Just how long I’ve been alone

This is a beautiful love poem...whomever it is for is very fortunate. It started off in past tense then changed to the present, but the transition went smoothly. Very well written. Good luck in the contest.
