There was feeling, there was love, when everything was right.
Now here we are, our struggling lives, as we look back at life.
There was fun, we had our talks, we had friendship like no other.
And there we were, two friends, now nothing like we were.
Everything has fallen apart, and the distance grows each day.
I miss your smile, I miss your words, or having a friend I can trust.
Now as we are, there is nothing to say, and the tension is to much.
Breathing is hard, and the mistakes are misunderstood.
When people get involved clouded the world becomes.
You listened to what you feel is right, and here we are.
I'm scared of the lose, you're a mystery to me.
I'd love to go back, show you what I see.
Maybe if we listened everything would be so much better.
So now a good-bye I never wanted is the last I had.
When there was so much more to what I should have said.
You read this and I don't know what you'll do.
You might get mad, you might be sad. Or,
You might just see it as words, that will never have meaning again.
Words that once were held so dear, now you don't hear.
Words are all I have now. Because you're not here.
So I'll say what I needed to before. What eats at me.
I'm sorry for my wrongs, and I'll miss you every day.
I hope you feel better, and time will help me fade.
It hurts for me to lose you, but you needed this good-bye.
I'll just smile on, as I wipe the last tear from my eye.
Author notes
Abby, I suggest you not read this, you probably wouldn't like it . This is a final good-bye to a good friend of mine who, isn't a friend anymore.

I love it!
It has an amazing flow and rhyme to it.
I'm proud of you for writing it too... good for you.

*claps* amazing.
i think this may be a perfect sort of goodbye to someone who was a friend that you loved maybe as more.
somehow it says everything that's needed to be said, without going over the top [a dire mistake i always seem to make -rhyming not intended-]
exquisite work good luck =]]
