I have been having a dream
I dream that has lasted for 5 long years
There was something strange about the dream
It was clouded by a nightmare
A nightmare from which I was unable to wake
I tried so hard to think only of the dream
The dream that always made me smile
That dream that I fell in love with
It was a dream that I always thought about
and if you can believe it I actually dreamed about the dream
The day when it would finally be the only thing I had in my mind
That day when I finally could say it was all mine
The day I could hold her in my arms and kiss her
Well the day has come
After 5 years living in a nightmare
A length of time which seemed to be lifetimes
And now I am living in my dream
The dream is the only thing there is now
It consumes me
It fills my life with joy
Of which I never imagined possible
The dream is Christy
The dream is a love endless in measure
The dream has finally come true
Now I awake filled with happiness
Hoping deep down inside
That the dream will never end
