The chilling cold claws at her skin
sinking -- into the depths of her soul
as wind lashes out arbitrarily
an exterior view of her inner self
Inside she is frozen, like a bitter storm
bound so tight -- against emotion
A wall separates her from the pain
but it silently eats at her core
Finally the build up breaks her down
the torrential downpour -- mirrors her mind
lightening strikes down in blood red flashes
Thunder echoing voices of self abhorrence
The rain slows down to a light drizzle
as her tears run down her face
and her wrist bared -- for the world to see
the shame and indignation of suicidal rage
Please tell me what you think
