Sometimes the day will seem so restless
The mind will give you pain
The world around you seems so unkind
And you feel all you've done was wrong
Stand back look at this day
Look to what God has given
There is a beautiful blue sky above you
sometimes filled with magical formed clouds
stand back and listen to the birds sing
and the whispering of the wind, or the ocean
rushing to the shore.
Then take one moment to raise your hands to heaven
and thank God for all you have been given
and the forgiveness for not being thankful
for all this beauty.
Ask God to forgive your selfishness
for only thinking of your bad day.
