Suicide

She sits all alone
her head cradled in her hands
as the guys pass her by
and the girls don't give a second glance.

She's been there all year
whats the use; shes not new!
What you don't think about
is that shes the same as me and you.

She has her own problems,
her own pain, her own fears
the only thing is
she hides all her tears.

She cuts every night
as the blood runs her wrist
no shes not "emo"
she just wants the list.

The list that had her last
the ugliest, its true
that hateful paper that started it all
an apology is long past due.

However she never got one
why would she, shes dumb
an imbecile by nature
but really shes only numb.

Three days later they pass by
and when they see she is not there
they ask around and find out
that they should have cared.

For you see the little girl
who was always so alone
took her own life
and now shes nothing but bone.

Now they all wonder
what could i have done
Did my own careless actions,
cause a person to run?

They will wonder forever
there chance has been lost
for that poor little girls life,
they will now pay the cost.
