If only I could make decisions without the aggravation of thought
I might find new shoes on my feet.. A letter from my daughter..
More than dust and ghosts in my bed.
Wandering in the afterglow of the latest surrender to temptation
I stumble past sleeping dogs lit by the moon whose epileptic dreams
are truly blessed..
Beneath nightmares perched like music frozen in a divine moment..
The newest romance with contrition never fails to be the most enigmatic..
Home again...
Wilson pickett on the stereo..
The cat has brought me a winged & bloody tribute..
The once white walls now stained a pretty shade of nicotene are
unable to contain her indifferent affection for me...
Well... The day wont break for several more hours
and sleep ignores my flirtations.
Memory drifts to childhood..
crayon colored pictures on refrigerator doors..Drive In movies..
The first indication of strange happenings in my pants
after Michelle Osborne hit me with a sock of marbles...
I showed my interest by presenting her with a dandelion bouquet
which she immediatly threw in the dirt
and began throwing rocks at me..
Thus a life long tone was set...
And I couldnt have been happier..
Author notes
I tried to use all of them.. basicaly i just dont know what the hell i am doing most of the time..

Side effects of thinking to those of us blessed by verse is the ink stain on our hands. You capture well here what one can ponder in just fleeting moments actually. A couple of lines grab me....Beneath nightmares perched like music frozen (wonderful) and also the visual of the walls in the house (or office). It gives the reader a sense of feel, and the voice carries well throughout the piece.
Well done.

That makes two of us, I have no clue as to what I am doing either.
'I stumble past sleeping dogs', i have to many and trip over them daily, a few times at least. made me smile. thanks jennifer
