Upon The Wind

Missing image
Winds of change beckon to me,
sail my love upon the sea.
With you take our endless love,
as currents drift high above.

If the clouds should turn gray,
when you are far far away.
Feel me there in heart so warm,
take you safely past the storm.

Distance shall not matter none,
two hearts shall still beat as one.
In the windmills of your mind,
thoughts of my love left behind.

Feel my touch upon the breeze,
let it calm the roughest seas.
May skies be blue clouds be white,
stars guide you with clear nights.

On the shore the windmill turns,
missing you as my heart yearns.
Rushing wind brings love to you,
drift on high in skies of blue.

    This evokes strong images and emotions. To share a heart felt warmth while being so far apart. The rhyme and flow is so gentle and leave the feeling of being at rest. Good Luck on the Contest.

    The imagery you possess and pour into your poetry is second to none. For each and every poem you post, I find it so easy to be able to become appart of it or you can feel the tenderness it holds within it. This is a true sign of a great writer
