As rich as the sunset
Is the color of it's skin
The hair sways in the wind
With the rain falling from little black-holes
The roots take what it can
The sprinkle of the sun from above
And the drops pouring down
A rainbow colors the golden day
As the little sprout grows
Little herb smiles from dark earth
To see light above with the rest of it's kin

Thank you foe entering my contest. It is well written, but this is not a haiku and therefore does not qualify for this contest.
