They way you all mock me,
Without a thing to see.
It just makes me strong.
Even if I feel like I don't belong,
I know in the long run
That I will stop at none.
For all the sadness and pain,
It will soon go away,
For all the times I was depressed,
It just made determined for the best,
And how I love the feeling,
As though I'm stealing,
All their words they cannot speak,
Now that I have reached the highest peak.
All because they couldn't shut up.

I really appreciate your take on the prompt. You've definitely encompassed the concept of it. People try to bring you down, but as the saying goes "What doesn't kill you can only make you stronger."
Thanks for sharing

What inspired you to write this?
Were the jerks at school picking on you? I've been there. It sucks having to go to school with those jock assholes, but I'm glad you've risen above it. Don't let those jerk-off's get you down. You are way more talented than them. Great poem!
