Silence

As she drowns in an all too familar world...
Surrounded by an all to familar feeling
She realizes how many times she's been here...
To this place so cold and unforgiving.
She looks around slowing the spinning scenery...
Scattering her already jumbled thoughts...
She swore to never fall again...
She swore to never let herself hurt again...
How good it feels to write once more...
How great to be honest and true...
To herself in which should've been number one...
She's lost again...
So far from what she wanted...
Her mind and body scream for releif...
but her soul buckles with need...

"Catch me!" she screams...
but continues untouched...
"Catch Me!" she pleads...
but remains unheard...
"catch me!" she sobs...
but all is lost...

The phone rings...
She jumps to get it...
Finally, the call she's wanted...
Nothing is said and her body aches...
Back to her perfect utopian life she hides...
Suffocating under friends and titles...
Her mind screams and her heart races...
Only to be told "silence"
They hang up with not a word she needed...

"CATCH ME!" she screams...
but continues untouched...
"Catch Me!" she pleads...
but remains unheard...
"catch me!" she sobs..
but all is lost...

Silence screams her name...
Silence breaks her broken heart...
Silence explodes into nothing...
Gone forever...
A flawless memory...

"Silence" she whispers...
